Noticing more hair fall than usual can be an extremely stressful experience. Not knowing what’s causing it, makes it even more stressful.
Getting to the root of the problem is daunting, time consuming and it can take a while to figure out what's causing your excessive hair fall. Well, that’s what happened to me. It took me about one year to realise that the pill, was causing my hair to fall out!
That phrase alone gives me goose bumps. Every time I ran my fingers through my hair, a bunch of hair strands would fall out. And then I think to myself, ‘Ok, this must be it’, so I used to run my fingers through my hair again and another bunch of hair strands would fall out!
Every time I washed my hair, the amount of hair that used to fall out, was insane. At least to me it was, because I never noticed this much hair fall before!
This whole experience was not normal. Every time, I researched how many hair strands should someone lose every day, the result that came up was approximately 100 to 125. This number seems quite high to me, this is because on a normal day, I don't tend to notice a lot of hair fall, however at the time, the amount of hair I was losing was a whole lot more, compared to my usual natural hair fall.
My journey to finding a solution to hair fall
I had to do something about it. I decided to splash some cash on some of the best hair vitamins out there. I took Viviscal tablets for months and months and whilst I saw improvement to the health of the hair, the consistent hair fall seemed to persist. I realised that the only new thing that I introduced in my life, that past year was the pill.
I spoke with my doctor and I told her that my hair is falling out because of the pill. She said that pills don’t usually cause hair loss, but I was convinced that the problem was the birth control pill! She put me on a different type of pill, so I decided to try that for a few months, but the problem was still there.
My hair fall solution
After some time of testing different pills and still stressing out about the amount of hair I was losing every day, I decided to end all of these different birth control pills that I was taking and I bought the natural cycles thermometer. Oh, what a relief.
After doing more research about birth control side effects, I found that some women are really sensitive to the pill hormones which can lead to hair loss. My hair was moving from the growing phase to the resting phase way too soon and that's why I was noticing unusual hair loss on a daily basis.

Why is your hair falling out?
The pill was MY hair loss problem and it could be yours too. After doing some research, I found that it is actually more common than you think and not a lot of people talk or even know about it!
That said, there are many reasons as to why you could be losing your hair or noticing more hair fall than usual, so I would therefore recommend for you to look into different reasons as to why you are experiencing hair loss as well as arranging an appointment with a Thricologist, as they are amazing at diagnosing the reason behind the hair loss.
Seeing a scalp specialist can really help you get to the root of the problem as well as having the support you need to help you gain back the confidence that you might have lost along the way.
Make sure you download my FREE hair loss checklist today and start taking action.
Go through the list and see whether any of the reasons listed could be something that may be triggering your hair loss or the unusual amount of hair fall that you have been noticing lately.
Use this checklist as a guideline and if in doubt, always seek advice from a professional. You can reach out to your doctor for medical advice or fix an appointment with a Thricologist. Hair loss can be a sign of something more serious going on in the body. Do not ignore it and do not delay.

I feel extremely lucky to have found this company. It became my solution to my excessive hair fall problem. I gained my life and confidence back and most importantly my hair stopped falling out after a couple of weeks or so of stopping the pill.
I have never felt so relieved in my life! If you think the pill is causing your hair loss, I would really recommend for you to try the thermometer from Natural Cycles. No more messing with your body’s hormones.
How to use the Natural Cycles Thermometer
The contraceptive thermometer works alongside a mobile app. You take your temperature first thing in the morning before you get out of bed. You then take a note of the reading on the temperature and insert it onto the Natural Cycles mobile app. Within a few seconds, the app will tell you whether:
You are fertile or not
Whether your period is on its way
Whether you are ovulating
Easy peasy! At first, it might take around one to three cycles for the app to get to know you, so you will experience more red days rather than green days. Be patient, it is worth every wait! Don't forget to download the free checklist before you go.
